The Opportunity: Wagga Wagga Hospital is seeking experienced Consultant/Specialist Anaesthetists to provide locum cover within its Anaesthetics Department. This is a great opportunity to work in a busy regional referral hospital, support a skilled surgical and peri-operative team, and enjoy excellent locum rates with generous inclusions. Shifts include a mix of theatre lists and on-call responsibilities , with day structure and rates tailored to the roster. What You'll Be Doing: Providing anaesthetic care for a mix of elective and emergency surgical cases Managing peri-operative care, including pre-operative assessment and post-operative review Working closely with surgeons, ICU, ED and theatre staff Participating in on-call rosters as negotiated, supporting after-hours and emergency cases Contributing to safe, high-quality patient care in a consultant-led service Eligibility Criteria: Current AHPRA Specialist Registration in Anaesthesia (FANZCA or equivalent) Comfortable participating in on-call arrangements Australian working rights Willingness to complete local onboarding and mandatory training (if applicable) What's Provided: Up to $4,000/day , dependent on shift type and on-call load Flights provided Fleet car Sole accommodation arranged for the duration of the locum Support with credentialing through Gorilla Jobs Location - Wagga Wagga, NSW: Wagga Wagga is a major regional centre with a relaxed, friendly feel.
